If you're ever passing through the desert southwest around Valentines Day, you should swing by Grants, NM and check out the Mt Taylor Quadrathlon. It's 40+ mile race of climbing and descending by road bike, trail shoes, skis and snowshoes. Good times. Unfortunately, we don't have any good pics because the race is quite remote, pretty much you against the mountain with about 400 volunteers up there to assist. Bryant knows what I'm talking about... it's truly a unique race.
We've been here in Albuquerque, NM for the last few months knocking out my final chunk of rescue training. We'll be here through mid summer, then go to a NOLS Wilderness EMT course in CA during August, head to KY for Ironman Louisville over Labor Day, then back to AK after that.
Here are some pics from the last few months:

Finally an update!!! Glad to see everything is going well in NM for you guys. Hopefully we can make it out.
My mother was born in Cubero and my father in Ramah - two towns close to Grants.
I love that area. It's beautiful.
